End of support for private Synthetic locations on Red Hat/CentOS 7

Chromium development for Red Hat/CentOS 7 stopped at version 126. For important security and stability reasons, we've decided to discontinue our support for installing Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate on Red Hat/CentOS 7 after ActiveGate version 1.305. We plan to have ActiveGate version 1.305 as the last Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate supported on Red Hat/CentOS 7. Additionally, with Dynatrace version 1.306, we plan to introduce mechanisms preventing Synthetic-enabled ActiveGates on Red Hat/CentOS 7 from being updated beyond version 1.305.

End of support for private Synthetic locations on Amazon Linux 2

Chromium development for Amazon Linux 2 stopped at version 126. For important security and stability reasons, we've decided to discontinue our support for installing Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate on Amazon Linux 2 after ActiveGate version 1.307. We plan to have ActiveGate version 1.307 as the last Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate supported on Amazon Linux 2. Additionally, with Dynatrace version 1.308, we plan to introduce mechanisms preventing Synthetic-enabled ActiveGates on Amazon Linux 2 from being updated beyond version 1.307.

ActiveGate version 1.305 Dynatrace version 1.305

Added support for Firehose instance parameters. Amazon Data Firehose includes these key-value pairs in each HTTP call. Instance parameters can help you identify and manage your destinations. They’re now being processed and added automatically to ingested log records as attributes.

Chromium 126 is the latest supported version for Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate installed on:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9
  • CentOS 7.9
  • Amazon Linux 2

Chromium 130 is the latest supported version for Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate installed on:

  • Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, 22.04
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8, 8.10, 9.2, 9.4
  • Oracle Linux 8.10
  • Rocky Linux 8.10, 9.4
  • Amazon Linux 2023

Chrome for Testing 130 is the latest supported version for Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate installed on:

  • Amazon Linux 2023

Chromium 130 is bundled with the Windows ActiveGate installer.

    General Availability (Build 1.305.2)

    The 1.305 GA release contains 1 resolved issue.

    ActiveGate

    • An issue with the visualization of some Davis problems created via Kubernetes anomaly detection problems has been fixed. The affected problems were: `CPU-request saturation on cluster`, `Memory-request saturation on cluster`, `CPU-request saturation on node`, `Memory-request saturation on node`, `CPU usage close to limits`, and `Memory usage close to limits`.
