Infrastructure & Operations
Latest Dynatrace
Infrastructure & Operations simplifies infrastructure health monitoring and facilitates root cause analysis for problems.
To help you swiftly resolve infrastructure problems, health indicators powered by Davis AI detect early signs of performance degradation.
You can drill down from Infrastructure & Operations to any infrastructure entity metrics, logs, or events.
For detailed observability, we recommend installing OneAgent.
Data Centers
Infrastructure & Operations provides visibility into interconnected data centers.
You can filter and sort the data centers by name, entity ID, type, hosts, problems, and location.
To reduce problem resolution time, data centers by default are sorted by the number of open problems.
Use the column selector in the upper-right corner of the table to show or hide columns.
Hosts
You can sort and filter hosts by name, entity ID, operating system, hypervisor, host status, cloud type, host group, IP address, problems, traffic volume, CPU saturation, memory saturation, disk saturation, and tags.
Use the column selector in the upper-right corner of the table to show or hide columns.
Select a host to see details on the following sections:

Metrics
Overview
The overview provides insights into performance analytics, which include CPU usage, memory usage, disk usage, network traffic, availability, and uptime. It also shows the host properties, tags and ownership for fast host identification.
Technologies
The technologies section allows you to monitor the CPU and memory usage of the technologies available on your host.
Processes
In this section, you can see the CPU and memory usage of all processes in a graph view. This allows you to easily identify what each process is doing.
To focus on a specific process, select the process on the chart or in the chart legend.
- To open a chart in Notebooks, select > Open in Notebook.
To see details on a single process, select it in the table to display process-specific tabs with information such as CPU and memory usage, working set size, incoming and outgoing traffic, and properties and tags.
Problems
This area allows you to view all problems detected by Davis AI. Selecting a particular problem shows the affected entity.
Vulnerabilities
In this section, you can find all the detected vulnerabilities. There are two categories of vulnerabilities, third-party and no code-level vulnerabilities.
SLOs
With SLOs, you can monitor service-level objectives by viewing their name, status, error budget and timeframe.
Logs
This section contains pre-made queries. To see a detailed view of your logs in a log browser, select a query. From there, you can perform further modifications to get more information about issues.
Events
Use this tab to track your host events.
- To display the events in a notebook and perform further actions, select Open in Notebooks at the bottom.
Metrics
For each host, this section allows you to track metrics such as:
Availability
CPU analysis
Memory analysis
Network analysis
Disk analysis
To open any of these metrics in Notebooks, select > Open in Notebook in the upper-right corner of the graph.
