Workflow templates give you ready-made workflow definitions for common automation scenarios. Use them to start new workflows quickly and then customize them for your use case.

  • Create a workflow from a template.
  • Create a template from any workflow. Just export the workflow as a YAML file.
  • Create a workflow guide that explains prerequisites and configuration steps.

Create a workflow from template

You can create a workflow based on a template. For more information, see Create workflow from pre-made template or Create workflow from YAML template.

Create a template

You can create your own workflow template. To do so, create or modify a workflow and then export it as a template. For more information, see Download a template.

Create a workflow guide

When you create a new workflow or template, you can include a guide that explains prerequisites and configuration steps. The guide will then be visible for anybody who uses the workflow or template. For more information, see Workflow guide.
