Building a Dynatrace app?

Use the @dynatrace-sdk/client-hub SDK client instead of calling this API directly — it handles authentication, typing, and the environment URL for you. This REST reference is for external and automation use.

Overview

Dynatrace Hub API provides catalog content in the context of the current environment, helping you discover and inspect the Dynatrace Apps, Extensions, and Technologies available to that tenant. It lets you list overview information, retrieve detailed metadata for a specific item, and review published releases, including revoked releases, so you can track what is available and how it evolves over time. You also use it to browse Hub categories and their associated item IDs and content blocks, which makes it useful for building catalog views, validating availability, and integrating Hub data into environment-aware tooling.

Authentication

Platform API endpoints use Platform token and OAuth client authentication. Attach a platform token or OAuth access token to the Authorization HTTP header using the Bearer scheme.

--header 'Authorization: Bearer <platform-token-or-oauth-access-token>'

For details, see Tokens and authentication and Platform tokens.
