Set up
Jira Service Management Connector to start sending alerts from a workflow.
app-engine:apps:install permission in Dynatrace.External requests allow you to control outbound network connections from your Dynatrace environment to external services. You need to add a host pattern to allow Workflows to reach the JSM Alerts API.
Go to Settings > General > External requests.
Select New host pattern.
Enter the following domain name for the JSM Alerts API:
*.atlassian.net
Select Add.
If your organization uses a self-managed JSM instance, add the instance's domain instead.
Dynatrace uses an integration in JSM to receive incoming alerts. This integration provides a unique URL and API key that you use in Dynatrace.
For more information, see Integrate with Dynatrace in the Atlassian documentation.
