Duplication of metric events is disabled
Platform | Davis AI
Due to a bug, we disabled the ability to duplicate an existing configuration of metric events. The fix will be available shortly.
New features and enhancements
ServiceNow integration update
Platform | Notifications and alerting
ServiceNow integration now supports the plain text format of problem details instead of HTML. You'll find this useful if your ServiceNow environment has the [code] tag disabled.
The app assists you in building your first automated workflow with two example use cases.
Integrate Site Reliability Guardian with CI/CD pipelines.
Send logs to the owner of an entity.
Browser monitor support for deprecated JavaScript frameworks
Digital Experience | Synthetic Monitoring
Browser monitors now include a flag in edit and creation mode to include support for deprecated JavaScript frameworks. In script mode, the parameter "useIESupportedAgent": true enables this support; when set to false, the parameter doesn't appear in the browser monitor script, and any settings enabling deprecated JavaScript frameworks are ignored.
VMware settings
Infrastructure monitoring | VMware
We have introduced a new settings page for VMware monitoring, along with REST API support. As part of this update, we have migrated all settings to the new page, which is now accessible via Settings 2.0 and can be controlled using the VMware (builtin:virtualization.vmware) schema in the Settings 2.0 API.
OS services settings description
Infrastructure monitoring | Hosts
We've removed all DDU references from the OS services monitoring description.
Additional attributes on Kubernetes events
Infrastructure monitoring | Kubernetes
The following attributes have been added to the Kubernetes events:
first_seen
last_seen
event uid
event count
These attributes enable the correlation of kubectl and Kubernetes API request data with the information displayed on the events card, allowing for matching numbers in the event count.
Furthermore, the Kubernetes: Event count (builtin:kubernetes.events) metric now can be easily correlated with events generated from log lines. By exposing the event UID in the log events, it becomes apparent whether two events are recurring instances of an existing event or a new event with different attributes.
Data Explorer and dashboard table enhancements
Platform | Data Explorer
We have made the following improvements to the table visualization:
Columns: In the Data Explorer table visualization, use the checkboxes in the Columns section to enable and disable the display of columns. These selections are reflected in the resulting dashboard tiles.
Rows: In Data Explorer, you can remove the limit to see more than 100 rows.
Pages: In Data Explorer and resulting dashboard table tiles, tables are automatically paginated. Use the controls under the table to page through tables.
In addition, you can now add a metric event directly from the Data Explorer query editor. For details, see Add metric event.
Fixed inconsistencies in checking IAM permission between Multidimensional analysis and Calculated Service Metrics. (TI-5961)
Leading and trailing ideographic space characters no longer break an LQL query. (Before the fix, ideographic space characters at the beginning or end of an LQL query would break the Log Monitoring Classic Log viewer when querying for logs. Now, ideographic space characters are treated like regular space characters.). (LOG-3243)
Dynatrace technology is now visible for processes on the new host page. (HOST-2448)
Resolved inconsistencies in "Data explorer" tooltips for "Filter by" settings. (EXA-5226)
Due to wrongly calculated values, we temporarily disabled the Settings 2.0 feature for Key Performance Metrics (Apdex). (RUM-10654)
Fixed an issue where alerting profile title filters were not applied for some built-in event types. (DAVIS-4412)
Automatic configuration migration for Anomaly Detection (Host) no longer overwrites Alerting/Dealerting event thresholds settings with default values. But if migration was performed the custom settings are replaced by defaults. (HOST-2603)
Resolved issue with failure to delete duplicate problems for premium HA, sometimes resulting in stuck open problems. (DAVIS-4345)
Log content spaces are no longer trimmed in the "Logs" table. (LOG-3054)
Fixed a case where very large problems could cause the entire problem manager to get stuck. (DAVIS-4587)
Advanced queries with functions in summarize blocks are now correctly parsed by the query visitor. (LOG-3189)
Problem notifications with a `{ProblemDetailsHTML}` or `{ProblemDetailsText}` placeholder now correctly contain a root cause section if only a single entity was affected. (DAVIS-4408)
All matchers within the log pipeline (events, metrics, log processing) in DQL syntax can now use case-sensitive attributes. This means that, when using DQL, you need to make sure that the case of the characters in attributes used in the criteria for matchers corresponds to the case of the characters in the attributes in the log record. (LOG-3290)
Resolved exception occurring when saving logs to CSV. (LOG-3148)
For remote configuration management, in the message stating that "You cannot perform the remote configuration action on all of [entities] that you have selected," the link for downloading a list of the inapplicable entities now correctly downloads the list. (DMX-3544)
Application Security
Pinning the "Hosts" page to a dashboard with an Application Security host coverage filter set no longer results in an error. (RSA-9545)

Improved the "Synthetic monitor health" dashboard tile for environments with many open problems. (Resolves issue with the tile not displaying an unhealthy monitor as red.). (SYNTH-4722)
Update of a synthetic monitor no longer triggers an on-update execution. (Resolves issue with unexpected execution of deactivated monitors.). (SYNTH-4770)
User interface
Fixed an issue that caused the crashing of entity details pages. (TI-6517)
