This API is deprecated. Use the Settings API instead. Look for the Metric events (builtin:anomaly-detection.metric-events) schema.

The Anomaly detection—metric events API enables you to manage the configuration of custom metric events.

You can also manage the same configuration in the Dynatrace web UI at:

  • Settings > Anomaly detection > Extension events.
  • Settings > Anomaly detection > Custom alerts.

List all metric events

Get an overview of all custom metric events configured in your Dynatrace environment.

View a metric event

Get metric event parameters by event ID.

Create a metric event

Create a new event with the exact parameters you need.

Edit a metric event

Update the existing configuration of an event.

Delete a metric event

Delete the configuration of an event you no longer need.
