Chromium support for private Synthetic locations
Chromium 109 is the latest supported version for Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate installed on:
- Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, and 22.04
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8
- CentOS 7
- Amazon Linux 2
Chromium 109 is bundled with the Windows ActiveGate installer.

Prometheus histogram metrics
Prometheus histogram metrics are now ingested by default.
- The
_sum
and _count
parts of the histogram are ingested as dedicated counter metrics.
For example, the istio_request_duration_milliseconds
histogram metric results in two counter metrics:
istio_request_duration_milliseconds_sum.count
istio_request_duration_milliseconds_count
Labels for Kubernetes service
On the Kubernetes service page, the Kubernetes service labels are now displayed in the Properties and tags section.
Histogram metrics in the Istio metrics section
On the Kubernetes workload, namespace, and service pages, a new Response time chart is added to the Istio metrics section.
