New operating system support for Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate

Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate can now be installed on Windows Server 2022.

Chromium support for private Synthetic locations

Chromium 107 is the latest supported version for Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate installed on:

  • Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, and 22.04
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8
  • CentOS 7
  • Amazon Linux 2

Chromium 107 is bundled with the Windows ActiveGate installer.

This is a cumulative update that contains all previously released updates for the 1.255 release.

Resolved vulnerability

Resolved issue in ActiveGate where extension configuration properties may be written to ActiveGate log files.

The fix is provided with the ActiveGate Extensions module version 1.255.240.20230308-155657. To check the version of the Extensions module:

  1. Go to Deployment Status > ActiveGates.
  2. Select an ActiveGate.
  3. Check the Extensions version in the Versions section of the ActiveGate deployment overview.
