To take advantage of performance improvements, recent security vulnerability enhancements, and bug fixes, we've upgraded JRE to version 17.0.18+8.
Infrastructure Observability | Infrastructure & Operations
CIDR notation now supports the proxy-non-proxy-hosts property of proxy configuration and the related Kubernetes Operator feature.dynatrace.com/no-proxy flag.
For example, 10.0.0.0/8 is now supported, and is equivalent to the still supported 10.* expression.
Infrastructure Observability | Infrastructure & Operations
To improve ActiveGate installation, the ActiveGate installer now checks for cluster availability up front, thus reducing installation failures and troubleshooting time.
Infrastructure Observability | Kubernetes
ActiveGate Kubernetes monitoring now writes field container.image.digest on Smartscape CONTAINER nodes.
Infrastructure Observability | Kubernetes
Kubernetes metadata telemetry enrichment for cost allocation and security context now supports Prometheus (OpenMetrics) metrics.
The following attributes have been added to OpenMetrics data:
dt.cost.costcenterdt.cost.productdt.security_contextFor details, see Kubernetes metadata telemetry enrichment.

ActiveGate self-monitors disk and directory usage, continuously reporting total and free volume space, plus per-directory usage and limits for modules and related Dynatrace components, to reduce outages and aid diagnostics.
Existing metrics dt.active_gate.disk_space.volume.total, dt.active_gate.disk_space.volume.free, dt.active_gate.disk_space.directory.size, and dt.active_gate.disk_space.directory.limit have been updated to include finer-grained dimensions: storage.volume.path and storage.volume.mountpoint now replace the previous volume dimension. Monitoring covers more internal and external ActiveGate modules where applicable.
