Java Runtime Environment update

To take advantage of performance improvements, the latest security-vulnerability enhancements, and bug fixes, we've upgraded JRE to JRE version 11.0.17.

ActiveGate base image

ActiveGate Universal Base Ima ge Micro (UBI Micro) is now set to version ubi8-micro:8.7-1@sha256:eb4245271537034f69ee336a4a2b31d3fbae4048ec1db53ff89de749c35cf537.

Kubernetes workload monitoring

Dynatrace now detects and sends events for the following changes in the Kubernetes workload:

  • livenessProbe
  • readinessProbe
  • startupProbe

Chromium support for private Synthetic locations

Chromium 108 is the latest supported version for Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate installed on:

  • Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, and 22.04
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8
  • CentOS 7
  • Amazon Linux 2

Chromium 108 is bundled with the Windows ActiveGate installer.

    The 1.257 GA release contains 1 vulnerability resolution.

    ActiveGate

    • Vulnerability: The jackson-databind library has been updated in response to CVE-2022-42003. (APM-390531)

    Resolved vulnerability

    Resolved issue in ActiveGate where extension configuration properties may be written to ActiveGate log files.

    The fix is provided with the ActiveGate Extensions module version 1.257.296.20230308-155355. To check the version of the Extensions module:

    1. Go to Deployment Status > ActiveGates.
    2. Select an ActiveGate.
    3. Check the Extensions version in the Versions section of the ActiveGate deployment overview.
