Fleet Management surfaces health alerts and warning signals for all your ActiveGates—directly in component lists and in entity details. They apply to all ActiveGate purposes: General, Synthetic Engine, and zRemote.
Use it to discover:
- ActiveGates that have lost connectivity and are offline
- ActiveGates with tokens approaching their expiration date
- ActiveGates running on an unsupported version
- ActiveGates that were shut down on demand
Health state conditions
The following signals appear as Alerts and warnings, listed in prioritized order.

Warning | Token Token expires in [x] days. Your ActiveGate will lose its connection once the token expires. | Rotate the token. For details, see ActiveGate security. |
Warning | Unsupported This ActiveGate is on an unsupported version. Update the ActiveGate to continue receiving Dynatrace support. | Update to a supported version. For details, see Update ActiveGate. |
Info | Info This ActiveGate was shut down on demand and has been offline for [x] days. | No action required. This signal appears only when a time range filter is active that includes the shutdown period. |
How signals surface in the list
In the component lists, Fleet Management automatically prioritizes:
- ActiveGates with a critical health state first
- ActiveGates with warnings immediately after
- All remaining ActiveGates, sorted by version ascending (oldest first) by default
A custom sort or filter overrides this default prioritization.
