Delete sensitive Grail records in Dynatrace with the Grail Storage Record Deletion API using DQL, start, cancel, list, and check deletion tasks.
Dynatrace Grail - Storage Record Deletion lets you remove selected records from Grail when you need to eliminate sensitive or otherwise unwanted data. It uses DQL to precisely identify the records to delete, then starts a deletion process that runs asynchronously and can be monitored as it progresses. The API also lets you list deletion tasks, check the status of an active request, and cancel a submitted process when needed, making it useful for controlled data-removal workflows and compliance-driven cleanup.
Platform API endpoints use Platform token and OAuth client authentication. Attach a platform token or OAuth access token to the Authorization HTTP header using the Bearer scheme.
--header 'Authorization: Bearer <platform-token-or-oauth-access-token>'
