Overview

Dynatrace Grail - DQL Query API lets you run Dynatrace Query Language against Grail and retrieve results with consistent execution, validation, and response behavior. It supports starting queries, checking their status, fetching final results, and canceling work when needed, making it suitable for interactive analysis as well as automated data retrieval. The API also helps you build and refine queries by returning suggestions, validating queries without execution, and exposing the canonical query structure for tooling and integration workflows.

Authentication

Platform API endpoints use Platform token and OAuth client authentication. Attach a platform token or OAuth access token to the Authorization HTTP header using the Bearer scheme.

--header 'Authorization: Bearer <platform-token-or-oauth-access-token>'

For details, see Tokens and authentication and Platform tokens.
