Manage Dynatrace Notification v2 to create, update, get, patch, and delete event and resource notifications with the Notification Service API.

Building a Dynatrace app?

Use the @dynatrace-sdk/client-notification-v2 SDK client instead of calling this API directly — it handles authentication, typing, and the environment URL for you. This REST reference is for external and automation use.

Overview

Dynatrace Notification v2 lets you manage resource and event notifications through the Notification Service API, giving you programmatic control over how Dynatrace sends alerts and updates. You can create, retrieve, update, patch, and delete event notifications, as well as list and manage resource notifications by type and resource. Typical use includes automating notification setup, keeping delivery settings consistent across environments, and integrating Dynatrace alerting with external tools and workflows.

Authentication

Platform API endpoints use Platform token and OAuth client authentication. Attach a platform token or OAuth access token to the Authorization HTTP header using the Bearer scheme.

--header 'Authorization: Bearer <platform-token-or-oauth-access-token>'

For details, see Tokens and authentication and Platform tokens.
