From Notebooks Notebooks, you have a variety of reporting options.

Share a notebook

To share a notebook with others users in your Dynatrace environment

  1. Display the notebook.

  2. Select Share.

  3. Select sharing options.

    • Access for all (view-only): Give view-only access to everyone in your Dynatrace environment.
    • Share access: Create and maintain a list of users and user groups with access the notebook.
    • Share links: Create links (URLs) pointing to your notebook and distribute the links through the channels of your choice (email, for example).

To print a notebook or create a PDF

  1. Display the notebook.

  2. Open the menu next to the notebook name in the upper-left corner of the notebook and select Print view.

    The print view displays the notebook as it will be printed, and offers basic printing options (paper size and portrait/landscape).

  3. Select Print to set additional options and select the printer or file destination.

Download notebook section results

To download a local file containing the output of a section to a local file (CSV or JSON format)

  1. Display the notebook.
  2. Select the section.
  3. Open the menu for that section and select Download result > [file format].

Schedule automated reporting

To create a workflow directly from a notebook section

  1. Display the notebook.

  2. Select the section.

  3. Open the menu for that section and select Workflows > [workflow option].

    • Create workflow to email results
    • Create workflow to send results via Slack

    Workflow configuration details are automatically set for you where possible.
