For more information, see Migrate OneAgent and watch the following video.
New features and enhancements
Added support for Foundation & Discovery on Managed with DPS license.
DPS License
Support for Foundation & Discovery was added to Dynatrace Managed with DPS license.
Improved Unified analysis pages
Automations | Ownership
Team name is now displayed in the Ownership Add Ownership tag list.
Metric key event throttling threshold change
Alerting
Metric key events are now throttled at 200 (instead of 100) simultaneous alerts.
Delete expired maintenance windows easily
Settings | Maintenance windows
The Maintenance windows page now makes it easy to delete expired maintenance windows. Just select Delete expired maintenance windows, set the number of days, and select Search to list maintenance windows that have been expired at least that many days. Select Delete to delete them.
Improved root cause analysis for services with Kubernetes workload events
Infrastructure Observability | Kubernetes
We have improved some root cause analysis scenarios regarding services with Kubernetes workload events.
Improved handling of long-running fetches of requests and traces
Application Observability | Services
To make better use of system resources, we adjusted the handling of a long-running analysis:
- Long-running fetches are visualized better.
- Analysis runs that take too long are stopped.
- Partial results are returned for fetches that have been automatically canceled.
This can reduce the overall load on the Dynatrace system and thus improve performance and system stability.
Remediation advice available for SNYK vulnerabilities in API, UI and Grail
Application Security | Vulnerabilities
From now on, you can see remediation advice/description for SNYK vulnerabilities in our v2 API, third-party vulnerabilities page, the new vulnerabilities app and security events in Grail.
Apache Commons Compress version updated
ActiveGate | Security
The Apache Commons Compress version has been updated from version 1.21 to version 1.26.2 to address CVE-2024-26308 and CVE-2024-25710.

Resolved issues
General Availability (Build version_1.294.40)
The version_1.294 GA release contains 10 resolved issues.
Application Security
- Fixed the generation of the next page key when filtering security problems using management zones and sorting the results in descending order. (RSA-15138)
Cluster
- To resolve an issue in which ActiveGate token generation failed when given a long lifetime, the `expirationDate` now has the following constraints: it must not be set in the past and it must not exceed two years from the moment of creation. (PS-22548)
- Extension configuration statuses are no longer stuck in the loading state. (EXT-9986)
- Fixed an issue that could temporarily prevent certain settings pages from working correctly on newly created environments. (PS-22946)
- Replaced the `rx_pid` dimension with the `process.pid` dimension in the `dt.process.handles.file_descriptors_percent_used` metric. (HOST-5689)
- Enrichment logic that could cause Kubernetes service entity duplication was fixed. (K8S-9927)
- Resolved an issue causing cross-environment dashboards to not work after updating to Dynatrace Managed 1.288. (PAPA-17822)
- The OneAgent health page no longer fails when fetching the ActiveGate name without permission. (TI-12536)
Documentation
- Corrected the description of Java metric `builtin:tech.jvm.memory.runtime.total`. (OA-30456)
Synthetic Monitoring
- Fixed an issue with multi-tenant (Cluster ActiveGate) Synthetic private location health check status, which was reported differently across environments. (SYNTH-11203)
Update 48 (Build 1.294.48)
This cumulative update contains 1 resolved issue and all previously released updates for the 1.294 release.
Cluster
- If your OneAgents can connect to the target environment only via Environment ActiveGate (for example, they are in a restricted network), then they can't use Remote Configuration Manager to modify their connection. (DMX-7911)
Update 61 (Build 1.294.61)
This cumulative update contains 1 resolved issue and all previously released updates for the 1.294 release.
Cluster
- Fixed a crash in the problem UI that can occur during the rolling upgrade of 294 to 296. Upgrade to the latest 296 version for Managed to avoid the problem crashes. A workaround is to open the web UI from an upgraded node. Then the crash won't happen. (DI-15516)
Update 75 (Build 1.294.75)
This cumulative update contains 2 resolved issues and all previously released updates for the 1.294 release.
Application Security
- Fixed an issue where offline PGIs were still considered for monitoring and usage. (RSA-17167)
Cluster
- Fixed an issue where PGIs excluded from monitoring were generating usage. (RSA-17259)
