Dynatrace extends its Application Security module to include automated and AI-powered risk assessment and vulnerability management for applications running on PHP, the open-source, server-side programming language that's widely used in web development. By automatically identifying the most critical vulnerabilities and providing code-level detail and prioritization based on business impact, DevSecOps teams can manage threats and reduce enterprise risk.
Dashboards
To make it easier to add variations of metrics in Data Explorer, we have added a Duplicate command. For example, if you’ve built an expression for average session duration to display in a line chart, and you want to add a second line to display maximum session duration, you no longer need to start from scratch to add to the second expression; just select Duplicate for the first expression and then modify the aggregation method of the copy.
Email notifications limit
Subject lines of email notification are now truncated to 20,000 characters to avoid notification loss when, for example, placeholders cause extremely long subject lines that make the messages undeliverable.
SLO error budget
Added toggle for the SLO error budget normalization. Settings for Releases and SLOs have been moved to a dedicated "Cloud Automation" section.
Dynatrace web UI updates
You can now add a text description of a management zone via the Dynatrace web UI.
A dedicated column for the build version has been added to the release overview page. If only one build version is detected, it is shown in this column. If multiple versions are available, the column shows "Multiple".
If AppSec (runtime vulnerability detection) has not been activated, the release details page now displays the tile icon instead of showing 0.
Data explorer now uses the correct name dimension keys for the :names operator in metric selectors when custom generic entity types are used. (APM-309971)
Fixed migration to Data explorer for custom charts containing legacy plugin metrics. (APM-316472)
When migrating a custom chart with two tag filters applied to the Data explorer, the tags are now correctly applied with an AND combination instead of an OR. The migrated chart is opened in Code mode in the Data explorer, not the standard Build mode, as the Build mode does not support AND filter values. (APM-318454)
Dashboards filtered by `Deployment type` now correctly apply the filter. (APM-317158)
Dynatrace API
When using the `/api/config/v1/extensions` and `/api/config/v1/plugins` endpoints to post a configuration for a remote plugin, you now need to provide the ID of an ActiveGate extension module that is online on the tenant. Use `https://{your-environment-id}.live.dynatrace.com/api/config/v1/extensions/activeGateExtensionModules` to get the IDs of all ActiveGate extension modules. Configuration for a non-existent remote plugin is rejected. (APM-310674)
Fixed issue that caused unauthorized requests to the Synthetic Monitoring API to return unexpected error response. (APM-317625)
Log Monitoring
Filtering by timestamp field in log viewer v2 no longer causes error. (APM-309687)
Transactions and services
Fixed an issue where calculated service metrics would randomly lose data. (APM-316585)
User interface
Added `Location` link to header of user details page. (APM-316552)
Update 94 (Build 1.225.94)
This cumulative update contains 2 resolved issues and all previously released updates for the 1.225 release.
Fixed issue with access permission to Kubernetes entity page for some users with management zone permissions only. (APM-322118)
Synthetic monitoring
Fixed issue in which, when the geolocation of a private location was reconfigured in the settings, the private location was subsequently not taken into account for anomaly detection for browser monitors. (APM-321860)
Update 104 (Build 1.225.104)
This cumulative update contains 1 resolved issue and all previously released updates for the 1.225 release.
Cluster
Resolved issue in which, when a cluster node hit memory hard cleanup and stopped processing incoming user sessions data, it failed to start processing incoming user sessions data again when the cluster node returned to normal memory conditions. (APM-322680)
Update 109 (Build 1.225.109)
This cumulative update contains 1 resolved issue and all previously released updates for the 1.225 release.
Cluster
Fixed an issue which, in some special cases lowers the amount of ingestible events. (APM-322923)
