Dynatrace Cloud Automation version 244.1.0 brings fine-grained access control based on Dynatrace user management. Whether the user is a developer who needs access to a certain sensitive project, or a site reliability engineer with full privileges in the production environment in Cloud Automation, fine-grained access control enables you to model the appropriate requirements, permissions, and user roles.
New features and enhancements
Fine-grained access control
Cloud Automation UI (Bridge) and CLI support OpenID Connect on top of the OAuth 2.0 protocol. For instructions on how to define groups and policies, see Cloud Automation user permissions.
Cloud Automation web UI
- The Uniform and Settings pages are now merged to provide a single entry point for configuration.
- The secret scope and keys are now displayed in an overview table.
- Notifications are unified across all pages.
Cloud Automation API
A set of endpoints are now marked for internal usage only. For a complete list, see the documentation on GitHub.
Webhook integrations
Webhook integrations can now respond with a customized event when starting the execution.
Security hardening
The blocklist is now enriched by adding not allowed
webhook calls.
Optimizations for sequence execution
Sequence queueing and parallel execution have been optimized.
