How long are versions supported following rollout?
ActiveGate configuration inheritance
The [http.client.internal]
and [http.client.external]
sections of the ActiveGate configuration files now inherit the configuration settings from the [http.client]
section.
Starting with this release, you don't need to to copy the communication settings defined in the [http.client]
section to [http.client.internal]
or [http.client.external]
.
When, required the proxy-off = true
parameter is automatically added to the [http.client.internal]
section during an update from version 1.247 and earlier.

Windows authentication for Extensions 2.0
Dynatrace extensions based on the Extensions 2.0 framework now support the NTLM and Kerberos authentication. See Manage Microsoft SQL Server extensions
Chromium support for private Synthetic locations
Chromium 103 is the latest supported version for Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate installed on:
- Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, and 22.04.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8.
- CentOS 7 and 8.
- Amazon Linux 2.
Chromium 103 is bundled with the Windows ActiveGate installer.
