ActiveGate installation command
The /bin/sh
ActiveGate installation command on Linux is deprecated and will not be supported starting June 2023. Use /bin/bash
instead. For example:
[root@host]# /bin/bash Dynatrace-ActiveGate-Linux-x86-1.0.0.sh INSTALL=/hosted_app/dynatrace
Private Synthetic locations—new Ubuntu version; latest supported Chromium version
You can now install Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate version 1.245+ on Ubuntu 22.04 with Dynatrace version 1.247+.
Chromium 103 is now the latest supported version for Synthetic-enabled ActiveGate installed on:
- Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, and 22.04
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8
- CentOS 7 and 8
Chromium 103 is bundled with the Windows ActiveGate installer.

Prometheus summary metrics
For existing annotated exporters, the metrics of the Prometheus summary type are now ingested by default.
