Dynatrace database monitoring starts with installing the Databases Databases app from the Hub. You can then use SQL extensions to collect performance metrics, query insights, and custom SQL data by adding monitoring configurations to each instance.

Install the Databases app

  1. Go to the Hub.
  2. Locate the Databases Databases app, open the app overview, and select Open.
  3. Ensure your environment meets the required permissions.
