Audit events for segment management provide visibility into all changes to your segments. These events help you track who made changes, what was changed, and when the changes occurred.
The following actions on a segment trigger an audit event:
Each audit event captures the user who performed the action, the action's status (success or failure), and a detailed description of the change. If the segment was updated, the event includes both the previous and the new configuration.
You can query segment management audit events directly in Grail using DQL. For example:
fetch dt.system.events, from: -30d| filter event.kind == "AUDIT_EVENT" and event.category == "FILTER_SEGMENT_MANAGEMENT"| sort timestamp DESC
This query retrieves audit events related to segment management, sorted by the most recent events.
