The built-in cleanup request workflow makes it straightforward to search for, review, and delete mistakenly ingested sensitive data.
Sensitive Data Center also lets you track the status of these requests in the Requests tab. Each step is documented with an audit trail to ensure compliance with your obligations.
To create cleanup requests with
Sensitive Data Center, you need to:
Open
Sensitive Data Center.
Select Request cleanup on the Cleanup data card.
In the Grail search scope section, specify start and end date in the Timeframe dropdown.
Choose Log bucket scope. You can select All log buckets or Selected log buckets. If you select the second option, a dropdown will appear. In the dropdown, check the desired log buckets.

Next, you can preview your request, apply policies, and adapt the DQL query to ensure that it only matches relevant data.
Select Create request to save your request.
Your selected reviewer will be notified by email and must then review and approve your request. Alternatively, they can request changes to the request. You will be notified by email when they approve or request changes.
Once your request is approved, use the Requests tab to track the status of your request. The request may take some time to process.
To make reviews easier and speed up processing your request, see Best practices.
