With 
Workflows Dynatrace Intelligence AI integrations, you can automate requests to our generative and agentic AI and have it react to changes in the environment as they happen.
Using Dynatrace Intelligence generative and agentic AI in Workflows helps you save time and lets you focus on other tasks while Dynatrace Intelligence reviews and analyzes the incoming changes for you.
Use cases
- Use generative AI to:
- Summarize events and activities
- Suggest optimal solutions for open problems and changes within the code
- Use Dynatrace Assist and agentic AI tools to:
- Request analysis of your environment
- Help with your daily tasks, such as generating DQL queries or providing insights for the data in your environment and across Dynatrace apps

Licensing
All Dynatrace Intelligence AI workflow actions are licensed and charged for. The rates for different AI workflow actions may vary depending on which tools or agents you use in the agentic AI actions, so we recommend checking the rate card for clarification. For more information, see Agentic and generative AI.
If you are a part of the preview program and previously had access to generative and agentic AI workflow integrations, we strongly recommend replacing your workflow actions from those that shipped with Dynatrace Intelligence (Preview) to the new ones that are shipped with Dynatrace Intelligence. You can continue using the preview actions for now, but these actions are labelled as deprecated and there will be no automatic migration. Any future improvements or features will only be available with the new, publicly available actions.
Also note that billing now applies to the generative and agentic workflow actions that are available with both Dynatrace Intelligence (Preview) and Dynatrace Intelligence.
To change your workflow action from preview to GA
- Copy your input from the preview action fields to ensure that nothing is lost.
- Select Change action.
- In the pop-up, select Change action to confirm the change.
- Select Prompt generative AI (previously Define prompt) or Prompt agentic AI depending on which type of action you had configured.
- Transfer the previously copied input to the new action.
- Select Save to save your workflow changes.
