Delete a web or mobile frontend from Dynatrace Real User Monitoring with the RUM API by its Smartscape FRONTEND ID when you no longer monitor it.

DELETESaaShttps://{your-environment-id}.apps.dynatrace.com/platform/rum/v1/frontends/{id}

Overview

You use the id path parameter, the Smartscape FRONTEND ID, to delete a web or mobile frontend from Real User Monitoring. A 204 response confirms the deletion. Use this operation when you stop monitoring an application, for example to clean up frontends that you created with the create operation for testing or for apps that were retired.

Authentication

To execute this request, you need a platform token or OAuth access token with rum:frontends:delete scope. To learn how to obtain and use it, see Tokens and authentication.
