Run a workflow in Dynatrace with the AutomationEngine API by workflow ID and create an execution with the supplied input and parameters.

POSTSaaShttps://{your-environment-id}.apps.dynatrace.com/platform/automation/v1/workflows/{id}/run

Overview

You create an execution for the workflow identified by the id path parameter. The request can include input, params, and uniqueQualifier in the body, plus monitor in the query, and it returns a 201 response.

Authentication

To execute this request, you need a platform token or OAuth access token with automation:workflows:run scope. To learn how to obtain and use it, see Tokens and authentication.
