Primary Grail fields

Primary Grail fields are commonly used to:

  • Route telemetry
  • Serve as input to data processing rules
  • Filter telemetry
  • Define permissions

If applicable, they should be present on all data (spans, logs, metrics, events, Smartscape topology, etc.).
