We highly recommend following the best practices when setting up a connection between Kubernetes Automation and your Kubernetes cluster, as described in Set up Kubernetes Automation, such as setting up multiple connections for adhering to the principle of least privilege.
You can create multiple connections within the same Kubernetes cluster. Having multiple connections for the same cluster has the advantage of fine-graining the roles in your cluster, allowing you to assign specific roles to specific EdgeConnect instances using Kubernetes RBAC.
It is essential to adhere to the principle of least privilege – assign only the minimum rights required to a service account.
